Orthodox Jewish view of the Messiah

My sister Tikva shared with me today, ( she is in Jerusalem) that she happened to speak to few Orthodox Jews about God, and while they were talking about the Messiah, one of the men said something that struck my sister, He said to her:
Many argue with us about who is the Messiah, about the new Jerusalem but I tell you, we the Jews, our job is to wait for the Messiah, and while waiting to do good,
and when He will come we will all know!
