One day, I took the bus back home after teaching at a pastor conference in Kathmandu, Nepal. It was winter, the bus was fully packed, I had to stand the whole way home, it was a long cold ride back home. I was carrying my backpack and two other bags with me, with my computer, projector, small speaker, camera and teaching materials.
And as I got home, cold and exhausted, as I opened the door, I leaned down to let go of all my bags onto the chair that was standing by the door. But then something zmzaing happened:
My small speaker dropped down just in front of my head onto the chair, strange, it looked like it fell from the ceiling. I looked quickly only to discover that ALL of the zippers to my backpack were closed. Strange, I though, where did the speaker come from? but I was too tired to deal with it and pushed the thought out of my mind. A little while later, after I warmed myself and relaxed a bit, I opened my bags to look for my camera, I wanted to see the photos that were taken at the conference, BUT THE CAMERA WAS GONE, I got nervous, for I had just bought it for $450. I emptied all my bags on the floor looking for it, but NO CAMERA.
At that point, I was sitting with all my things on the floor thinking: “Oh no, it must have been stolen on the bus".
So out in frustration, I called: "God I want my camera back! And Woooow, to my amazement, the camera suddenly appeared right in front of me.
What a MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!
I realized that someone had stolen both my speaker and my camera out of my backpack on the packed bus. Yet here the Lord had returned them to me: The speaker dropped out of the ceiling onto the chair right in front of me, and the camera appeared when I asked for it. This is just so amazingly cool!!! WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE, PRAISE BE HIS HOLY NAME.
