While I was praying in my room, I suddenly saw a light appear in the ceiling. A being of light came down slowly and he was so magnificent in splendor that I could even see vividly all the details of his beauty. It was more beautiful than anything my eyes had ever beheld. I was frozen in awe and shock at what my eyes were beholding. Then slowly, I started to slide off my chair to fall on my knees but in that very moment, before my knees touched the ground, suddenly an invisible force threw me back and said to me, “Lucifer.” A fear fell on me realizing that just now the Holy Spirit had warned me and stopped me from worshipping Lucifer. My whole body trembled and I was weeping aloud. I was so scared, not of this creature but of myself, that I was ready to worship Lucifer. My friends, I have learned a very important lesson, not to follow our eyes. 1 John 4:1 tells us, “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” Also in 2 Corinthians 11:14b for even “Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light!” Let’s all be cautious and ask the Lord to give us the spirit of discernment so we can spot the wolf that’s in sheep’s clothing.
